NWASA Update Issue 6

This edition, which is of historic and sentimental value, covers the period between April and June months this year, and is marked by the celebrations of the various days and events of national significance in South Africa’s history. The first of these monumental days is April 27, marking the Freedom Day celebrations of the country’s first thirty (30) years of liberation from oppression, suppression and repression under the divisive system of Apartheid. This is followed by the May 25, Africa Day; and the 6th Anniversary of the founding of the National Writers Association of South Africa.
